        D1型土压平衡顶管机在软土、硬土中都可采用，是全土质的顶管掘进机。覆土深度要求不高，最小为1.5倍管径，一般管径在φ1500-φ4000mm之间，通过合理的注浆方式，可改良土体，保持控制面稳定及地面沉降。变形极小，弃土的运输和处理方便、简单，作业环境好，操作安全、方便，适合大口径、长距离顶管

The D1 EPB pipe jacking machine can be used in wide and all-range soil conditions, with either soft or hard soil.The covered depth of the pipe is minimally 1.5X the pipe diameter, while the pipe diameter is generally between 1500 to 4000mm. With shield outside lubrication, soil paste in the excavation chamber could have the equal support pressure to the surrounding soil and groundwater, so as to achieve an improved balance.  With the aforesaid Soil Improvement, the risk of heave or settlement at the surface when advancing can be minimized.   

Therefor the EPB Pipe Jacking Machine can minimize the ground deformation, improve the efficiency of soil conveying and excavation. The operational environment is better runand the advancing process is safer.   

The EPB technology is suitable for large diameter and long distance pipe jacking.

1.适用土质范围广，适用于从N值接近0的粘土至N值为50的砂砾卵石地形，对于透水性较高的砂层，进行土体改良后形成螺旋输送机土塞效应亦可进行有效施工。

The EPB Pipe Jacking Machinecan be used in a wide range of soil conditions.  It is applicable to sandy, gravel and pebbly topography from clay with N value close to 0 to 50. For sand layer with higher permeability, advancing is viable with the Soil Improvement and the consequent plug effect of the screw conveyor.

2.采用低速大扭矩传动方式，刀盘切削力较高，过载系数能达到3以上
